^ lol

I'm not ready to buy my 13" MBP yet, so if they want to stretch it out for another month, that would be fine with me...

(Hoping they update the MBP lineup simultaneously with whatever it is they are launching, avg update is every 200 days, last I checked it was at 220 something since last update...)

I bet they do stretch the i5 models out another month. It doesn't make much sense to release them on the same day. The news of their release would just be overshadowed. Not with us, but you get the point.

I wouldn't mind seeing them go retro and use Newton either. That would be classic! Cool

If the device uses the OS X kernel, then "Newton" would be running "Darwin" Laughing

That would be fine with me!

We'll see tomorrow...

I still have to find a storage solution for the junk on my mini. I wanted to do a Time Capsule since I don't have wireless n in the house yet and knock out two birds with one stone. However, as far as I've seen thus far, partitioning the drive on the TC takes A LOT of work. I just don't have the time. Why partition it? To use about 250gig's for media storage to be accessible from the MBP, the Mini and any other future machines, I might even try out an Apple TV at some point. The other ~750gig for time-machine backups for the same machines.

I can almost write the story now.

1. Steve Jobs pulls out tablet and crowd goes wild.
2. Early adopters state they ordered one, fences sitters sit on the fence, haters bitch about everything in between.
3. Glowing review comes out from Walt Mossberg.
4. People that ordered one get excited about tracking numbers and ship dates.
5. Unboxing pictures start showing up on Flickr.
6. That iFixit site rips one apart.
7. Users have early complaints about quality.
8. The hype starts slowing down from overload.
9. Users start complaining about the limitations of the tablet.
10. Engadget posts "what would you change about the Apple tablet" article.
11. Apple releases first software update to address early issues.
12. People start talking about the next update.

Okay, what did I miss? Smile

WOW... you totally hit the nail on the head with all of those predictions. I can see all of those things you mentioned ALL happening after the Tablet is announced or released.

I assume you are referring to a live text feed.

Thanks Bandit Bill... much appreciated Smile

I was actually hoping for a video feed like some sites have done before like Engadget but I guess not for this event.
