|
|
I may buy a base model 27 inch machine.
My first question is does anyone have it?
My next question is does anyone have any 27 inch iMac?
Next how loud is it and how good are the speakers?
I want to hang this on a wall my wife wants a good kitchen
tv/dvd player/dvr .
I don't mind springing for it ,but I am wondering if I can get a refurbed 24 inch. Those are the only two models that wall hang. It would be nice if someone has used both. _________________ 2010 Mm 2.4 C2D oem 320gb hdd 8gb ram

Question???
Do you know what the graphics card is in that model because the tv/dvd player option would be fine!!!!
However!!!!
The Dvr option may pose some issues especially if the dvr software incodes in hd.
because then your files will start getting bigger and bigger.
around 1 gig - 4 gig's depending on what you record. |

good info thank you. I just missed the 27 inch refurb at the apple store. I had purchased some apple gift cards on ebay and they came 3 hours after the refurb sold. Oh well I will need to keep my eyes out for it. _________________ 2010 Mm 2.4 C2D oem 320gb hdd 8gb ram

yes I saw that apple care. thanks for looking out for me. I am hitting the refurb store 2 x an hour looking for the 27 inch model.
I grabbed the three 500 dollar gift cards at about 420 each after bing on ebay.
so that is 1260 for 1500.
the refurb would be 1449 instead of 1699.
I am looking at about 1325 out of pocket for the 27 inch 1699 model with apple care
that model is over 1950 from the apple store with tax and apple care included.
a 625 savings. It took 3 weeks to get good deals on the gift cards on ebay. Now i have to keep my eyes peeled for the refurb. how about dropping this ssd into the iMac

I tried a web based service that was supposed to email me as soon as a change was made to a webpage. I think some browsers even have this built in. Phil (or anyone) have you ever gave something like this a try with success? Perhaps this would be a good time to check it out. |

Wow, I'm surprised the app is so specific that's pretty cool. |

Personally I like the "hitting the refresh button" game. It's like playing a slot machine. _________________ MacMini 2.0GHz C2D (2009)
