Podcast syncing trouble

I subscribe to a lot of podcasts but when I sync them to my iPhone 3GS to listen to later, not all of them sync. I have plenty of memory to use. Is there a limit of how many can be on an iPhone?

Is anyone else having trouble?

Have a look in your iPods preferences, They show up when the iPod is connected. Have a look in the Podcasts section at the top of the page, I think the default is to only sync a small number of recent unplayed episodes for each show. I leave mine set to Automatically include all unplayed.

Yes. I've tried all, all unplayed, all new, etc. with episodes of "selected podcasts" and/or "all podcasts". None has made a difference. I was leaving it on as how you have in the pic, and was working fine. But now over probably the past few weeks this problem has started.

I think it may be only video podcasts its not including.

I've had the odd video podcast complain that they aren't compatible with the iPod and therefore haven't been copied over.

I originally got the warning on ever sync so I think it must have given me an option at some point to suppress the message as I no longer receive it.

I've never received a warning like that before. I'll check and see if I can reset itunes warnings. It just is weird b/c it was syncing these podcasts and now it won't. I have heard that maybe they're not compatible with the iphone/ipod. If so, I just find it weird that past ones were, and now newer ones are not.

I may have been wrong about the warning being suppressed. I've just realised that I now have it set to only sync selected podcast rather than all, so it could be that I disabled the warnings by turning off that particular podcast from the list that syncs.

I'm trying to find the ones that caused the popup now to see what it said, but it was a while ago and I can't remember which files it moaned about

I had suppressed the warnings, the show was still selected to sync but wasn't doing so.

I reset the itunes warnings, by right clicking on the iPod logo in the side bar. The one in the preferences didn't seem to do anything when I tired that one, although after trying the sidebar one I did unplugged my iPod and reconnected so maybe I needed to have done that after the preferences reset.

Anyway after Reseting the Warnings, I'm now receiving the popups again on a couple of shows which its flags as not being compatible.



Weirdly one of the shows that fails is syncing some of its episodes but its also skipping some as being incompatible
