Apple Releases Bonjour Update 2010-001
Friday, January 8, 2010
Posted by: Glenn
Apple has released Bonjour Update 2010-001 via their Software Update utility. According to the release notes, this update improves the reliability of connections between iTunes and Apple TV. I was hoping to be able to post more information about this update, but Apple never updated the Support Downloads section of their wesbite with a download or further information. The only other information I have to offer is that it weighs in at 959KB.

I installed this earlier and keep getting an unknown error -15000 when trying to anything with my Apple TV. Now is that improving reliability or what? |

Sure, that's what Microsoft would call an update that doesn't really work, so why not Apple too? |

I'm starting to think more and more that a Microsoft TV would have been a better idea.
I don't know. I'm almost thinking that an iTunes update should have accompanied this one. Something seems off, at least for me. I guess they don't have it listed on their website either. Could it have been pulled? |

| I'm still trying to warm up to the ATV, but no problems for me up to this point. It's still connecting and working fine. |

It was a very small update size, I can say that, but not much else. _________________ 2.0 Ghz 2007 Mac mini (120 GB HD, 2 GB RAM, 10.6.4)
