You sure about that? I just did a quick Screen Movie & it shows the Yellow. Even when I move the Video Window to a part of the screen that is not Yellow. Stay tuned! I have a better YouTube Vid coming. _________________ iMac 27" 3.06 8GB ATI 4670 1TB HD

Here's two images of the effect on mine, I think the camera is slightly exaggerating it though, making it appear slight more darker at the top

Screen captures definitely don't show the effect for me as Bill mentions they just show mine as it should look. _________________ Phil

Yes Cypher I can see. Basically the color on top is more pronounced & much darker than bottom, which looks a little faded. That is my issue as well. Only mine is towards Left Side & looks Yellowish.
Try watching this at full Screen. Let me know if you can see it.

Ok. Maybe it was imagination that I still saw it!
Isn't there an easier way of putting a Picture on here, other than putting your picture on a hosting site? There has to be!!
How did you get yours on here? _________________ iMac 27" 3.06 8GB ATI 4670 1TB HD

I still can't notice the yellowing on that new video Dino. I tired viewing it on both of my screens
I can put up with my iMac Screen problem as its not really noticeable with most of what I view on screen but my MacBook Pro looks a lot like this one
this isn't a picture on my actual Macbook Pros Screen but it is one I found which has the same effect. Thankfully mines not as bad as this one _________________ Phil

mines more like the top of the frame banding but all the way down, its nothing like as dark as the image above is at the bottom.
When it happens I just press the keyboard shortcut control-shift-eject, which forces the display to turn off. Then I press any key to restart the display and the banding has usually disappeared. _________________ Phil

I was still struggling to see yours but I edited one of the images to overlay a section of the bottom left rectangle so it was over the top left one and its very noticeable now

Wow! That looks bad. When I look at the screen, it doesn't look THAT drastic. But I guess that's Proof enough that I do have the problem. Hey could you send that image you created to my email? I'll send you a PM with my eMail. Thanks for taking the time. _________________ iMac 27" 3.06 8GB ATI 4670 1TB HD

Very noticeable. It also highlights the yellowish hue. |

Yes, and that's the Yellow I have been seeing.
Cypher is it that way all the way across the bottom, or just on the Left Bottom Side? _________________ iMac 27" 3.06 8GB ATI 4670 1TB HD

Its just a small section copied from the bottom rectangle and overlaid on the top one (approx 50% of the width)
I've emailed the full image
Its easy to recreate it yourself.
Open one of your images in Preview, using the selection tool - draw a rectangle around the lower left section. Press CMD C to copy the selection
then press CMD V to paste a copy back in and then just drag it up to the top section. _________________ Phil
