Fantastic Tales! It's so nice seeing a youngster playing a real guitar instead of some guitar-based video game. You did good dad! |

Thanks! for the complaints. On a side note my wife bought me a 5 string acoustic bass
Im left handed & since my mid teens i fooled around with my friends guitars
There all righties.
I feel comfortable holding a right handed guitar, the left handed my wive bought feels wrong. Just to fool around with in the house do you see any problems if i use a right handed guitar?
Its a right handed world, i fish, Bat, play hockey & golf right handed. And all power tools are 90% RH.
The 5 string is too thick i'm thinking of exchanging it for a 4 string RH acoustic Bass. _________________ iMac 3.06ghz 27" 4gb ram C2D 1TB/LaCie d2 1T

Hey, now that's cool! What kind of bass is it?
My father is a lefty and plays right handed. I guess you just gotta play what feels right. I think that's going to be up to you to determine though my friend.
I would determine it fast though. You're missing out on prime jamming time with the son. |

Thats nice! Dean is backordered until Feb. This store said they have it in stock, if they don't i have something to think about.
I wanted to stay under $200 But $260 isn't bad thats in the same price range as a new G Loomis inshore rod. If the dean is out of stock ill order the bass you posted. _________________ iMac 3.06ghz 27" 4gb ram C2D 1TB/LaCie d2 1T

I just bought a Taylor 312-CE from Musician's Friend. Wish me luck, cause it's been a long time coming!
Did you ever get either of those basses tales? _________________ 1.66GHz, 1.83GHz and 2.0GHz Mac minis

Ended up with the Dean. Its BIG.
About a half hour ago i had the tenant that lives below me knock on my door saying the amp was too loud. My son was practicing, Last week she put a note on my tool box to remove it from the corner in the hallway.
She's a lawyer & pays $2,300 a month for rent & thinks its her house. Well its historic over 150 years old, worth millions & mine. She is pissing me off i have 4 rentals & dying to throw this one out. My wife just asked me "you going to tell her to leave?"
There is a list of $hit she's done to pi$$ me off & I'm a good landlord.
Sorry, had to vent!
Good Luck! with the new guitar, looks sweet _________________ iMac 3.06ghz 27" 4gb ram C2D 1TB/LaCie d2 1T

Cobble Hill its a nice quiet historical neighborhood, It starts where Bklyn heights ends.

10 minute walk to Brooklyn heights promenade
dylan had just turned on the amp & it was loud. He lowered it, its not like he was plying at a high volume. _________________ iMac 3.06ghz 27" 4gb ram C2D 1TB/LaCie d2 1T

I just saw a video for that Fender phone you guys were talking about with Clapton on Engadget. It looks pretty cool! I like how a call from Buddy Guy pops up at the end. There's also a tuner app or something with Noiseless pickups!

@tales Congratulations on the Dean bass! That was probably a wise choice in the price range. I hope it works out well for you. |

Going to see West, Bruce Jr. and Laing at Westbury at the end of the month. Mountain has always been a big favorite of mine. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

I was thinking of going to that show. Mountain was the 1st concert i seen, it was in Bishop Ford HS in 73 or 74
I seen Leslie West in the mid 80s & had the opportunity to sit down & have a few drinks with him, he's a great man to talk to. He signed my West Bruce & Lang album.
Dylan doesn't know any WB&L so i had to get tickets for the Clapton/Beck show.
Personally I would enjoy the WB&L show i seen Clapton & Beck many times.
Bob, that should be a great show Enjoy! _________________ iMac 3.06ghz 27" 4gb ram C2D 1TB/LaCie d2 1T
