I was having a heck of a time the other day pairing up my Radtech mouse and Apple keyboard in Windows 7. They showed up, but never got past the connecting part. It just sat there forever. Anyone have some advice on getting them paired? I never had these troubles in XP. Laughing

If your device shows up in the "Add Device" window, right click on the icon and select "Add Device" instead of clicking next. It should install the HID driver and everything from there.

Same response as mentioned above. It was a very frustrating issue but was resolved very easily.

I did find a solution that worked for me (perhaps it will help someone else). Follow this step by step, while you are in Windows.

1) Switch off the device you want to pair
2) Select "add a device" in the Bluetooth menu
3) Switch on the device (after few second it should get detected by windows)
4) Now, right click on the device and select properties. You should now get a window with the different services.
5) select the HID drivers for keyboard and mice and click OK (this is the important part)
6a) In windows 7 it should setup mouse and keyboard without any additional input.

I found that cure posted by S_ Eye at http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2057008&start=0&tstart=0

Good luck and let us know the results. Oh and by the way Devo "Are We Not Men"? Great stuff..lol

Regards

Thanks so much guys! The right clicking worked like a charm. To be honest, I didn't even think about trying that. So what's the "next" button supposed to do? Laughing

Yeah, I loved that album back in the day Don. Cool
