HandBrake 0.9.4 Released

The HandBrake team has announced the release of HandBrake 0.9.4, an update to their popular video converter. The big news with this release is a new build system that allows 64-bit binaries. According to the developers, 64-bit builds tend to perform approximately 10% better than their 32-bit brethren. It also includes a new feature called Live Preview, which enables you to encode a small sequence of video, so that you can check out how it will look after processing. Already does, just not as easily as you might like.

I downloaded it in GUI 64 bits but it tells me that I need VLC in 64 bits as well, I thought VLC was only in 32 bits.
I replaced it with the 32 bits version and it is as slow as before.
How can I use the 64bits version of Handbrake? _________________ Mac Mini i5 2.5 GHZ, 16GB Ram.
Macbook pro 2008 Core 2 Duo, 256GB SSD, 2.5GHz, 6GB Ram
Dead PowerBook 180, M4440 33 MHz, 8 MB ram. |

I think they dropped 64-bit with 1.0.3 because the 64-bit version of 1.0.2 was extremely buggy. You can get them from the nightly builds though.
