I picked up the new Macbook Pro 13 inch today. What a great piece of hardware, I am totally impressed. I got the bottom line one with only 2 gb ram in it, but plan to upgrade to 4 gb soon. Sorry, just had to tell somebody. Laughing

Congrats on your purchase, caulktel. It is a great laptop; I have one, too. I quickly upgraded mine to 4 gb RAM and a 320 gb 7200 rpm drive. This really speeds it up and doing the installation is quick and simple on this model. Enjoy!

Oh yeah, I'm in heaven, I just love this laptop. Does anybody know whether this processor supports virtualization as I would like to run Parallels. Oh, and I have to replace the G4 with a new Mini soon. Very Happy

Yes, your can readily run virtualization software on your MacBook Pro. I run both Vmware Fusion and VirtualBox on mine. Parallels will run as well.

After installing Windows XP in Virtual Box, I figured out that I need at least 4gb of ram, so I'm looking for the best deal. Any ideas where?
