I got an early 2006 Macmini with Tiger and a Win XP partition, and I would like to install W7 but I got the early bootcamp that it came with Tiger. The problem is that if i tried to update W7 from Win XP I can't, so I'm scared if I format the win Xp Partition i'll loose bootcamp, drivers, etc. The other problem is that with this old bootcamp I can't install W7 from tiger through bootcamp. So I'm wondering whether to install Leopard and through new bootcamp then install W7.
I'm sorry if i've not been clear enough, but I would like to know if somebody with an old Macmini as mine (Intel core solo 1,55, 2Gb RAM, 60 Gb) has benn capable to install W7
Thank you very much |

If you search through our "Alternative Operating systems" section, you'll find numerous threads on this issue.
Other than that, I should say, you can install W7 on your Mini, but unless your absolutely sure of what your doing, I'd leave it be.
