I repaired permissions before and after. The log on the after was 22576 words. Seems like a lot going on there.

I'm not sure, but the developer release of Chrome still feels faster to me. In fact, much faster on sites like CNN.

Yeah, that is an impressive list fuentecigar. I ran it before and after and got the same monster back. I'm kinda glad that I ran now, which I don't do as often, so thanks.

Chrome screams on my Mac mini in Snow Leopard. I can't wait to see the final release. I still like those tabs on top as well. I wish Apple would have kept them up there in the final release of Safari 4. The beta was much cooler!

When is the final release of Chrome for the Mac coming out? I haven't been following anything about it.

Thanks 4 link. I been waiting 4 Chrome 4 a while. It works well on Windows and I expect the same or better on the Mac side. Its beta and still looks better than anything else I think.

Word Cali! I just gave it a whirl after seeing the link and it's most impressive.

I ran a repair permissions several times and this won't resolve:
Quote:
Repairing permissions for “Macintosh HD”
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired.

What's the deal here?

ETA: Never mind. I found it in the 'safe to ignore' list. Kind of annoying though...

I hate when things don't get repaired like that and hang around.

This [Chrome 4.0.245] is definitely faster than Safari; much snappier, more responsive. Other than that, it looks a lot like Safari. Seems they copied it. The text seems cleaner too. It appears to have some cursor problems though.
