Steve Jobs: CEO of the Decade
Approved by: Glenn
Category: Apple
CNN - "How's this for a gripping corporate story line: Youthful founder gets booted from his company in the 1980s, returns in the 1990s, and in the following decade survives two brushes with death, one securities-law scandal, an also-ran product lineup, and his own often unpleasant demeanor to become the dominant personality in four distinct industries, a billionaire many times over, and CEO of the most valuable company in Silicon Valley."

It's probably what got him to where he is now...

I'm feeling very sentimental about Steve Jobs. My career over the last 30 years has wrapped around Steve Jobs and Apple from the First West Coast Computer Faire. The picture they posted of him does not look good; he is very thin. I'm very much afraid he may not be with us much longer and I fear for Apple when he's gone. It would be a shame too, now that Apple is finally starting to find some real success and accolaids in the industry if Steve Jobs isn't around to bask in the glow of his success. Hang in there Steve! _________________ Retired: Altair 8800, PET, TI 99/4A, Apple II

| I just hope he can stay healthy and make it two in a row. I think Apple can go on and thrive without Steve Jobs, but it wouldn't be the same. |

Right, once he retires from Apple... the company may survive due to its existing brand value but it'll never be the same. |
