I currently have Vista installed on my MBP with Bootcamp. I'm thinking of taking advantage of the Student Offer from Microsoft for Windows 7.
Do you know if I upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 if I have the option of doing a clean install or is it just the upgrade?

AFAIK you'll have the option to upgrade, and keeping your files (Music, Pictures etc) at the same time.
I remember upgrading from XP to Vista (Why? Don't ask  LOL!) But seriously, should be fine to upgrade
