Toughie. I ended up voting iPod with video and OS X 10.4, although opera 8.5 is very close.

| I ended up voting for the iPod nano and Tiger. The Mac mini was a close second in hardware. Comic Life would be my second pick in software. |

The hardware category is tough. All the products "excluding the Mighty Mouse" are really great. I ended up voting for the Mac mini and OS X 10.4. I'm surprised that iTunes wasn't singled out in the software category. iTunes has really come a long way this year. It's pretty much my favorite application. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Imac Frontrow isnt such a breakthrough development.
Ipod Video is a nice toy, but not that significant, same for the Nano.
But the Mini is the best |

the new imac with front row is very good but in my eyes its not an entire new machine like the mini is.
i vote os x simply because i dont know the others and os x seems pretty cool at the moment. |

From my own experience and speaking as someone who switched in the past year, the mini pushed me off the fence and made me try OS X. I believe the mini is important because it has made the entry into OS X more attractive for many folks. The mini paired with 10.4...winning combination. Thats my vote. _________________ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

I fall into the same category. I would still be sitting on the fence if it wasn't for the Mac mini. I voted for the Mac mini and 10.4. To be honest, I don't have that much experience with the other programs. |

I have used Mac equipment exclusively since 1985. The Mini has been one of my best experiences. Love small and techy. This little beauty meets all my needs easily and reliably.
So I voted Mini and OS 10.4. It does not get any better. |
