If I have bootcamp installed, shouldnt most PC games operate fine on my Macbook Pro? |

Yes, fine. Depending on what graphics option you have on your MBP and what games you're playing.
My MBP has the 512MB GeForce 9600 GT in it and it runs games like a dream in Boot Camp.
