Unfortunately, I did not get any pics of the demolition (which was quite extensive...slats and plaster!) nor much of the actual work. There are a couple before pics and some taken during the insulation and beginning drywalling. And, of course, the final result (minus the wall-mounted TV I will soon be installing).

Looks good! I really like the fan and wood ceiling. The leather sofa looks nice and comfy. Can I move in? |

The house is over 100 years old and this room was not updated much. There was no electrical wired to it and the original windows were there. It was a TON of work (most of which is not reflected in the photos), but was well worth it. Drywall (and even the tongue and groove pine boards on the ceiling) were interesting to say the least because there wasn't a square corner, level stud, etc in the entire room. _________________ -=iMav=-

Been there done that. I've spent a lot of time restoring my house over the past 5-6 years. Painting, floors, deck, new steps, driveway, landscaping just to name a few of the jobs. Mine is around 65 years old. It's my first home! |

We owned a condo before this. So I am still in denial regarding yard work. _________________ -=iMav=-
