Yes. I have a question! When are the 2GB and 4GB iPod shuffles coming out.
How do you work for Apple in Ohio? Is there a call center there? _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

I do not know...
Apple is VERY Paticular about releasing information early.
For Instance: I didn't know the original iPod shuffles came out until my roomate mentioned it a day after....
If I find out I'll post it.... _________________

you probably spoke with my girlfriend the other day...haha...she is sending her 20gig 4G back in for the second time due to the battery only lasting 3 hours (the first time they upgraded the firmware and sent it back...haha)
kinda sad since she has only had it since december
but she loves her ipod nonetheless...i bought a 30gig photo because i liked hers so much _________________ 1.42 ghz mac mini w/ 1gig ram

It's not a problem now, but could you explain why I've had to return a 4g 40Gig ipod to apple for 3 times now with the same problem (sad ipod icon).
I first thought it was my laptop (windows PC I used it with), but the second time my ipod came back I just had my mac mini so I used it only with the mini. It also got broke in the same way (sad ipod icon)
I've received a new one again and it's been working perfectly for over two weeks now (fingers crossed).
In short, of the three different replacement Ipods I received (all with a different serial number) two of them broke down in exactly the same way .
Is there a known problem with the hard-disk in the - now phased out - 40 gig models?
Thanks in advance. |

You know 60% of the time, they work every time!
It sounds like you got some bad luck going. I haven't heard about problems with the 40GB models. Don't feel bad. My first 3G iPod came DOA. The replacement has held up for two years now without any problems, and I'm still on the first battery. |

Thanks in advance.

Any idea how to reset a iPod that the Menu/Play+pause reset won't work? Its so annoying! I had to let the battery 100% die before being able to use it again and as we speak its frozen again!! _________________ -CraigNB <3 |

Well everybody, stay away from the 40 gig versions.
Mine broke down again (unbelievable).
But the hurt has been somewhat softened by a conversation I had with somebody from the Apple support line;
A 60 gig Ipod Video will be arriving within 10 days at my home at no costs.
Hats of to Apple!! |
