Apple Releases iPhone OS 3.1.2

Apple has released the iPhone OS 3.1.2 update for iPhone and iPod touch users. According to the company, this update contains the following bug fixes and improvements:
- Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone or iPod touch to not wake from sleep
- Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart
- Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming
The iPhone OS 3.1.2 update weighs in at approximately 240MB. It's available now through iTunes.

There was a 3.1.1, but just for the iPod touch. |

I have experienced this issue twice. ...it's annoying, cause the phone gets no signal and you don't find out until someone tells you they left a message. |

| I swear to god, the 2.x releases were so much more stable. I've all three of those issues and more since 3.0. Here's hoping this is the turning point. |

Maybe this will fix the problem where the phone rings and you move the slider over to answer but it just returns back without answering. After about 5 tries it finally answers. Next 30 calls it works perfect. Anybody had this problem? _________________ Mac Mini 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM 500GB HD

It seems like the performance of my iPod touch keeps going down with these updates. I totally regret updating to 3.0. No problems this way with the iPhone though.
I've had the slider give me fits like that caulktel. Sometimes it totally sticks needing a reset. |
