Do you think we will see the updates this week? I guess Apple posted their Google ads early, so that they would be up as soon as the new products are out, hopefully, that means it is on its way soon.
Monday maybe?

The consensus on MacRumors is Tuesday with delivery for Friday. That would coincide with Oct 9th, which was the delivery date someone said Apple would ship their Mac Mini. So it all fits with the accidental Google release. I bet we see an official announcement or Apple Store change on Tuesday! |

| Hope the updates do come this week. An updated mac mini would be nice and a price drop would also be great. Who cares about the iMac as it's an AIO desktop (why doesn't apple release a headless Mac with iMac specs?) and updating the MacBooks would be interesting. |

Well that's about the strongest evidence that I've seen that new models are due Real Soon Now. _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

Yes. I'm looking forward to it.
I got the model released earlier this year and wouldn't mind buying another mini with better specs at some point if the price is right. |

Well, an update should at least bring the Canadian prices more in line with the American prices...
599 U.S. dollars = 648.60 Canadian dollars (rate from Google), not 729.00 (current Apple Canada price)
799 U.S. dollars = 865.16 Canadian dollars (rate from Google), not 949.00 (current Apple Canada price) _________________ Mac mini 2010 (Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz/8 GiB)

It's looking more and more like I'll be getting a faster and cheaper Mac mini than I had originally ordered. You should see the smile on my face. |

| Less for more is always better. It's also great to see the Mac mini getting attention from Apple again. That being said, I still think they need to shake up the case design or something. Other than the back ports, the Mac mini has essentially stayed the same for the last few years. Wouldn't a black top or even the case in iPod nano colors make the Mac mini even a bigger hit? This wouldn't take much of an engineering effort either. |

I'd like better a bigger mini, a mini Mac Pro, but that will probably stay wishful thinking... _________________ ___________________Jim©

I don't see them going that route either. It would be sweet though. |

It would be the stab of death for the mini, I'm afraid! _________________ ___________________Jim©
