| As a user of new 09 mac mini with 10.6.1, I have searched a bit on finding a different shape/size/color of mouse pointer with no avail. I am wondering if anyone can give a tip of finding one or a conclusion of no other mouse pointer (curser) for mac users? Thanks in advance. |

| In System Preferences - Universal Access - Mouse - you can make the cursor nice and big. There are a bunch of cursor programs out there. Search for "mac cursor" or "mac pointer". |

The only app I know if is not compatible with 10.5, so I sure it won't be good for 10.6.

Saul, do you know these are just tools of improving cursor visibility, not any new pointers for mac? |

Sorry, I missed the point. It appears that Apple really doesn't want people to change their cursors when it is super easy under Windows. If you want "custom" pointers then the only thing that I see is not supported yet in SL - http://unsanity.com/haxies/mightymouse . There is a 2.0 version coming out if you are willing to wait. Take a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WAqe9XJ7HA
I tried their 2.0b1 version and it doesn't work yet on SL. |
