Thank you for your help. Pmjb in the instructions you told me drag the printer folder to the desktop. But when I drag the folder to the desktop this one is copied on the desktop not moved. Do you refer to copy the folder or move to the desktop? if it is to move How can i move the folder? thanks

I solved all my problems with my printer brother mfc 465-cn. I updated the drivers from brother for mac os 10.6 (available since yesterday night). If you are interested , this is the link:

Yes, you are absolutely right, sorry. Drag it to the desktop, so it copies it there and trash the one in the library folder.
