Apple Introduces New iPod nano With Built-in Video Camera

Apple today introduced the new iPod nano, adding a video camera, mic and speaker to the popular music player. So music lovers can now shoot video wherever they are, view it on their iPod nano and use their computers to easily transfer their videos to YouTube. The new polished aluminum iPod nano also features an ultra-thin and sleek design with a larger 2.2-inch color display, built-in FM radio with live pause and iTunes Tagging, and built-in pedometer. The new iPod nano is available today in an 8GB model for $149 and a 16GB model for $179, and comes in nine colors including silver, black, purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, (PRODUCT) RED and pink.

Just in time for me making a return to running again at my local gym - guess I'll be off to Apple tomorrow morning to pick one of these up!
I think I may as well just get my salary paid directly to Apple every month, would make more sense....

| It's a shame you can't do true still shots with the camera, but the new nano is pretty darn sweet. |

ok this is really tempting. i have a 4gig nano 3rd generation. So this would be a huge step up for me.
can i record audio ?
you can't take regular pictures ?? |

Yeah, it's got an app for that.
I guess you can't take regular pictures though. It's just like a 640 x 480 video camera. |

And to think, I almost went with dano.
I really like the new iPod nano though. I would buy one for bringing to work and working out, but I just have so much going on right now. |
