Apple Holding Music Event on September 9th
Monday, August 31, 2009
Posted by: Fran
Apple sent out invitations today for that rumored music event on September 9th. The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10am Pacific Time. The invitations for the event simply read, "It's only rock and roll, but we like it." So, what are you hoping they announce at this event?

| I've been waiting on an updated iPod touch. It would also be nice to see them release iTunes 9. And maybe a 64-bit version as well. |

Yes!!! The Rolling Stones are coming to iTunes. Oh, wait a second.
I'm kind of set in the iPhone and iPod touch department. I would just like to see them release iTunes 9 and something in the way of new hardware. It would also be nice to see Steve Jobs give the speech and all. |

I can see them releasing iTunes 9 and updating the iPod touch, nano and Apple TV. That's probably about it. I'm not sure about the Beatles either. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

My buddy just bought an iPod yesterday. Based on rumors and past trends, I told him to wait until Sept 9 (prior to this article being released). Oh well.
I wonder what the "It's only rock and roll, but we like it." line refers to. Perhaps and update to the music only products (the shuffle) I hope it's a lot bigger event than that. |

Pretty clear there's no Beatles if they are using a Rolling Stones song lyric.
but who knows, maybe it costs a bit less to use Stones material than Beatles.
probably not- Sir Mick is supreme at business and almost as rich as Sir Paulie.
they did use Start Me Up, no wait, that was some other PC.
... maybe they should just use...Let It Be.

I hope some youngster at Apple doesn't think that's from a Beatles song. |

I would let him know. He might be able to return the other one.
I hope the rumors are true about an iPod touch with camera for pics and video. My wife has a birthday coming up and that would make for a nice gift. |

| I might be interested in buying a 32GB iPod touch if they drop the price down to like $299. A camera and HD output for video would also sweeten the deal. |
