Logitech today introduced four new multimedia speaker systems with 360-degree sound. According to the company, with speaker drivers that face forward and backwards in each satellite, the new speakers are designed to transmit sound more consistently over a wider range of space. The Z523 speaker system features two satellites and a 6.5-inch downfiring subwoofer, 40-watts (RMS) power and on-speaker controls for power, volume and bass. It begins shipping this month for $99.99. The Z323 speaker system features two satellites and a 4-inch downfiring subwoofer with 30-watts (RMS) of power. It starts shipping in September for $69.99.

Logitech also introduced two 2.0 speaker systems. The Z520 speaker system features a two-way amplified design and 26-watts (RMS) of power. It starts shipping this month for $129.99. And last, but not least, is the Z320 speaker system. It features 10-watts (RMS) of power and begins shipping in August for $69.99.

The two upper sets sound decent, but if you want some really nice speakers for the money check out the Studiophile AV 40s from M-Audio. You can get them for around $135 if you look around. I've had mine for a couple months and been totally impressed.

That's where I got mine from. I don't think you'll be sorry if you decide to give them a shot. I've been using mine for recording and stuff and they sound awesome.
