iPod Touch 2G OS 3 restore settings

If I restore to factory settings will I still have my OS 3 upgrade? I'm experiencing slow to non existant wifi access after trying to mail some Voice Memo's. Also is there any way to extract Memo's other than mail?

If you purchased 3.0 thru iTunes it will always be there when you restore thru iTunes.
I notice Wifi seems weaker and fluctuates too with 3.0. on my iPhone...but I'm jailbroken and unlocked (to T-Mobile) so I'm not upgrading to 3.1 out late July.

I noticed slower Wifi also on a friends 2G Touch I jailbroke and upgraded to 3.0. I thought it was the jailbreak, but it's probably 3.0, since I assume you are not jailbroken.
I haven't messed with Voice Memo much.

Thanks gigaguy, the slowness may just be my Airport. I'll try it out with a wireless router and see what happens.

The Voice Memo, I've discovered, is extracted when you sync with iTunes.

I've restored mine a couple of times since upgrading to 3.0 and as gigaguy said it restores to OS 3.0 though iTunes and not to the original OS.

The problem seems to be with my Airport as the iPod works like a dream with my son's Sky (Netgear) wireless router. Almost instant connection to BBC radio via FStream app. I'll check the settings again.
