My transistions are really choppy and slow. Album art only shows up 50% of the time. This thing is really buggy. I didn't add the BezelServices.Framework folder. Maybe I should have.

No. Make sure you backup or rename the old folder. |

| Do you need to copy the Front Row.app into Applications or CoreServices Folder, or both of them? Would it run better in the CoreServices Folder if you have a choice? |

Heck yes! I got my mini to run it! 512 ram causes some problems in the photo area when the app tries to fade pictures, and the dvd player doesnt work, (common problem) but everything else is fine! This is me: _________________ Me with Woz!

iTunes and my wireless logitech keyboard are a better option than this buggy software right now. I think that this will just inspire that other Windows Media Center equivalent software that's OSS for the Mac (can't remember the name) to step up development. _________________ Computer Engineer

I didn't have a privateframework folder in library just a frame work folder. _________________ Sincerely,

It shouldn't matter all that much, from what I can tell by looking at what the Frontrow.app uses it doesn't call from, or try to modify that particular framework. And backing that folder up is pretty much useless, as if you try to replace the files later it will say that you don't have permission to modify files in that particular folder (even if you type in your admin pass, it will come back and tell you you can't.) _________________ Me with Woz!

| Well, I actually changed the permissions for the folders in terminal. So I was able to overwrite the bezelservices.framework folder. We'll see if my mac mini blows up. |

Someone on digg posted a heads up saying it's not necessary to mess with the hacked framework. In fact, it could probably cause more problems with front row, rather than just installing the .app.

Same here. 10.4.2 running the .app just fine. Other than a quick transition lag with going into a sub-menu. After that first lag everything is normal. _________________ Me with Woz!

Mine doesn't. It keeps saying, "The movie trailer server is not responding" _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)
