iPhone OS 3.0

So just a few more days to go now before the 3.0 release, so no doubt we'll need a thread to discuss it's pros and cons. Smile

Does any body have it installed as yet? I do, and have to say the new features are certainly a welcome addition, and have been very well implemented.

Oh, I can't wait. I'm leaving on a trip the day after the relese, I hope to upgraded before I leave so I can play with the new features. I hope 3.0 works okay with my first gen iPhone. Come on 17th get here!

Well I managed to get the Gold Master release from a torrent site and its currently syncing all my stuff, hopefully it all goes well!

Managed to get tethering going from iPhone to MacBook too. It's amazingly simple, another great addition.

On another note, I've definitely got a shortened battery life, not an increase in battery performance I was hoping.

Ye my battery life has shortened, O2 have also activated MMS for me and it works very nicely! I've just found out you can only get percentage battery life on the 3G S, thats a bit of a joke IMO.
