What would you all consider the best netbook for under $400, preferably $300.
requirements:
10" screen
6-cell battery
4 hour minimum battery life
highly compatible with Ubuntu Netbook remix and/or Fedora (refer to this page for models in Tier 1)

I haven't gotten a chance to play with one myself very much, so maybe I'm not the best person to speak. But I am seriously considering getting one (I'm just lagging as usual) and have done a lot of research. The one that currently comes to mind that fits those requirements would be a MSI Wind U100. If/when I get one, if nothing better is released by that time, that would be my choice.

It seems to fit the bill quite well after looking over it. The U120 or U123 come with a 6 cell so those are looking like they are my picks so far.

I'm very happy with my Wind 100; no problem running UNR and the price has come down a lot since I bought mine last year.
