Nestopia works. You just need to download Emulation Enhancer from here:
http://www.bannister.org/software/ee.htm
Install that and configure it in Nestopia _________________ Mac Mini (upgraded)

You have to click the 'Set' button then push the button on the controller for that movement/action _________________ Mac Mini (upgraded)

Here is a list of emulators that work.
Nestopia.
Here are ones that have issues.
Any nintendo 64 emulator.
Any snes emulator because they want you to pay 39.99 for the emulator. |

Snes9x and ZSNES are both free...and work fine. Don't know where anyone is getting that they cost money.
Also, sixtyforce (N64) has always worked perfectly fine for me.
Maybe some of you are on PPC Minis? _________________ Mac Mini (upgraded)

|
|
I just downloaded sixtyforce for my new Mac Mini, and I can't figure out how to exit full screen mode with my DiNovo Mini (tried CMD Q, CMD H...nothing). I'm forced to hard-shut down the computer, which I don't like to do, so I haven't gone full screen, which sucks given I just bought a new 50" plasma. Any thoughts? Am I missing something obvious? Also, I'm planning on getting a XBOX 360 controller - any idea if it will work?
Thanks for your help. |

yes the xbox 360 controller does work on the macintosh if you want to go all out,
purchase the xbox 360 wireless receiver for windows 19.99 it is the receiver that runs all the 360 wireless controllers and headsets for the 360.
Then purchase a 360 wireless controller.
then install gamepad companion
then install the xbox 360 controller driver from this link.
http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver
it works great.
but you need gamepad companion to reconfigure the controller |
