|
|
A friend of mine invited me to go to a Track Day at a local race track... man was it a blast. I was able to get a ride with the owner of a 400HP RX-7, as well as in my friend's dad's Camaro. There were a bunch of cars there... 2 ferraris, a Porsche GT2, and 3 Lotus Elises to name a few.
You can read the rest on my blog here http://www.paulstamatiou.com/index.php/2005/09/17/road-atlanta-track-day/
and see some of the pics here http://www.flickr.com/photos/pauls/sets/965568/
I should have about 5 or so video clips online in a little while.. i'll link to them in the blog _________________ Computational Media Major Student @ Georgia Tech

Yeah... unfortunately it was a C class which meant the driver was new or something because C is the slower and suckier car class. It was a shame, the driver didn't seem to push the car at all, he was letting people pass him all the time. _________________ Computational Media Major Student @ Georgia Tech

Can you blame him. I wouldn't want any weekend Mario Andretti's to do in my Ferrari! _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

Cool pics. Looks like you had a really cool time!
I work part time as a racing school instructor but have never been to Road Atlanta but have always wanted to. Almost got a drive there this year in the American Le-Mans Championship in a Porsche GT3 but my sponsor never came through with the money in time so had to stay in the UK. Oh well always next time |

i've got an '02 mustang gt (V8 ) with a some exhaust work done, but fairly stock... its hard deciding to put money into car or computer... computer usually wins _________________ Computational Media Major Student @ Georgia Tech

Why don't you put your Mac mini in the Mustang? That's a win-win! |
