From that 3.0 presentation, they say the hardware is "different enough" that not all 3.0 features will work on Edge iPhones.
Whatever that means, I'll switch to a 3g when/if they release a 32gig unit or September, whichever comes first. My Edge is 2 years old in September. Cracked screen, dropped multiple times and still works like a champ...
