I think Amazon should come out with a really small barcode scanner for the dock connector. From what understand, 3.0 opens that up for developers...right? Then you can scan stuff in at a retail store and compare prices or just order the product through Amazon. Sites like Pricegrabber could also do this for total price comparison. Wouldn't that be handy?

The android phone does this with its camera.

I don't see why they can't develop something like this for the iphone that doesn't need a scanner.

I didn't know the Android phone had that feature. I'll have to read up on how it works.
