IIsi...picked it up on Halloween, 1992.
IIRC, that machine cost a fortune considering that it wasn't even a high-end mac of the time, but I loved it and learned a lot using it. Came with 5MB of RAM, which I boosted about a year and a half later to 16MB for about $600.
Since then I've been a proud owner of:
7600
PB 540c
SE/30 (with a 50mhz accelerator I added. Whoa, daddy!)
Lombard
DP 450 G4
Snow iBook
A pair of 2Ghz DP G5s
A pismo
A pair of 1.42Ghz G4 Minis (my current rig)

A MINT Cube with a 15" Cinema Display LCD monitor all from a garage sale and the best part was the price--$75! No original boxes but it came with the keyboard, mouse HK speakers--it was the steal of the century. I ended up selling it on eBay and still kick myself. I made FANTASTIC money on the sale, but really miss my Cube--after owning one I now see why there's one sitting in the Met
After the Cube I got a Mini, then a MacBook, then an iMac and am looking to get a new Mini and sell my 2007 one. I love Leopard and laugh at Vista and Windows 7 [Vista II]. |

My first mac that I found on ebay was a Imac G3 Blue 500 mhz with 256 MB of ram with a 20 GB HDD.
Later it was upgraded with 1 GB Ram and a 80 GB HDD.
~ My sis won her imac off a local Radio Station (17" core duo)
After selling my G3 and Custom PC I bought my Mini. _________________ Intel C2D Mini

My first was an SE with no HD and two 800k floppy drives. I remember what a pain it was constantly swapping floppy disks in and out. The evolution from there was a IIcx, 7200/75, 8500/120, upgraded to 200MHz, G3/266 beige tower, upgraded to 466MHz, G4/733 digital audio, upgraded to 1.8GHz, and now the Mini 2.26GHz
I had an original Mac 128k someone gave me and I kept it around for a while as a conversation piece. Still ran perfectly after 20 years. I finally got rid ofit for lack of space. _________________ www.joerenzetti.com

| Macintosh Plus back in the mid 80's. 20 inch Imac last weekend which I returned and got a Mac Mini instead. With the price difference I am able to get a new 24 inch monitor and up the ram and hard drive. Throw in a kvm switch and I'm able to run my windows and mac computers. |

Macintosh Classic 2Mb memory 40 Mb hard drive, it is the most expensive Mac I've ever owned. It still works and I fire it up now and then just for the heck of it. I started out with System 6 and went from there, I've been through 7, 8, 9 and finally OS X. After that one I had;
LC ll & lll+
Performa 636CD
660 AV <-- I wanted an 880 AV real bad, couldn't $wing it)
Performa 6400 - That one was cool, built in subwoofer
iMac G3 Slot Loader
eMac USB 2.0
Mac Mini 2009
Next Mac? who knows? _________________ Mac Mini 2009 2.26 Ghz, 4 Gb, 320 Hd 20" Dell(!) 2007FP (ips)

First Apple I got to play with was a IIc. I was in the 8th grade and one of our classrooms was just transformed into a computer lab. Since it was our last year in middle school, the 8th graders got priority over the other classes. I still remember how excited I was to get to play with a computer. The next year in high school, we also had IIc's that eventually got upgraded to IIc Plusses and in the journalism room, we had Macintoshes - how cool that was, publishing the school newspaper on a computer. I later found out that the reason it seemed schools only had Apples was because Apple donated them to schools. I don't know if it was like that all over the country, or just here in California or close to Apple in the Bay Area.
The first one I owned was a Performa 6300. After that, it was the Powerbook, 2 Minis, and MacBook that are in my sig, all of which I currently have. _________________ Mercury TiBook 400MHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, Airport

My first one was an iBook 14', the last available G4. A lovely computer, i sold it to a friend when i decided to have an Intel one (the macbook i still have now). And my friend loves it too, still works perfectly. _________________ Sorry for my english, i'm french
