SATA mods could be great, but using something like the MiniStack V3 for a startup drive with FW800 might be just as fast.

Not according to these guys, depending on the configurations and chipsets, etc... I guess it would need to be tested. Very Happy

Perhaps someone with a miniStack v3 and a new Mac mini could do some benchmarking for us?

Just ordered one from Apple and would like to know if these use a 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM?

Found it. Crucial already has the new models listed on their website.
