|
|
Hi fellas,
After the recent hysteria over the video that claimed to show the forthcoming Mini, I was wondering how easy/difficult it would be to mock-up my own fake new Mini.
It wouldn't be difficult to get hold of a Mini case - but how should I modify it? What ports should I put on the back...?
FireWire?
DisplayPort?
RS232?
12 volt car lighter socket?
Garden hose connector?
Please offer your own suggestions... _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

I was really hoping for two PS/2 connectors. I don't think this USB or BT thing is working out for input devices. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

+1. Broadband is totally overrated. I like waiting for my pages to load. And who needs video anyways?
Now, if we just had something for our old printers and serial devices.

Okay, okay. I'm taking notes here, guys.....
Maybe now's the time to resurrect the VESA Local Bus expansion slot...

NuBus! Nothing like bringing back the good ol' Mac II/IIci/IIsi days.
I'd also like to see about five USB ports, but have them labeled "service ports" and have them disabled with software like on the AppleTV. |

No that's fine, you can have HDMI....
...just as long as I can add a "port" that sharpens my pencil...

Just put one of these on the front,
...and the Mini will be the best friend of many men!
