Video of the new Mac mini?

Well, it looks like the guy that posted a picture of the next-generation Mac mini on the Internet now has a video. This one looks a little harder to fake.

If that is fake, than whoever is posting this is a magic worker I'm liking the firewire 800, but I hope that you don't need a putty knife to get into it. |

| I just hope this isn't some kind of prototype that Apple gave up on. And yeah, will someone buy this guy a putty knife. |

I don't think it is a fake but it could be a prototype.
Considering why would apple get rid of the Dvi output for the monitor this would really hurt them and to have to purchase a apple adapter or a apple monitor again. |

I have four words for Apple: Box it and ship it!
I don't know if that's a prototype, but it's real. |

Maybe he works for George Lucas or Steven Spielberg.
All kidding aside, I think we're looking at the next Mac mini or a prototype. The video doesn't look phony at all. |

Apple has treated the Mac mini like dirt for so long. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he got it out of the trash at Apple headquarters.
It finally looks like there could be a light at the end of the tunnel though. I will buy one if both of those display ports can be active at the same time. I've been craving for dual displays in the worst way. |

Ditto, and it has FW800.
I just watched the video again. Do you guys think something looks fishy about the power button? It seems to protrude more than mine. Maybe they they just changed the design. Mine has actually started to sink in over time.

It's all very interesting, but that's all it is until I can walk into a store and buy one.
And yeah, I'm with Texark - dual displays would make my year. _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

| It looks real to me. Do you guys think Apple could be behind this leak? It seems like a good a way for them to get feedback and build up some hype for the release. They sure as hell ain't putting the Mac mini is a commercial. They've always been afraid of it cannibalizing other Mac sales, although, in this economy maybe they are looking at the Mac mini different this time around. |

| I'm feeling a little better about this now, more so than with the earlier picture. I would still like to see a video of it booting up and the internals. I'm also a little worried about it being a prototype that Apple quit working on. I don't know how that could land in someone's hands though. Unless they were on the team at Apple that works on these things. |

That hand sort of looks familiar.
He is on a "break" from Apple.
I don't know where I stand on this one yet. The video looks rather convincing. _________________ 14" 1.25GHz G4 iBook (died)

That's an interesting theory. It also gets people waiting around for one. This prevents them from going out and buying something else in the meantime. That's assuming the new Mac minis aren't ready for primetime. _________________ 2.4GHz MacBook Pro/4GB/320GB HD
