Have a word with your local Authorised Reseller, they will occasionally do part exchange, or special bundling deals (buying a Pro with a printer and scanner, for example)
You could also try the Apple Store's Refurb section, there are (very occasionally) some good deals on there.
Good luck! _________________

Better deal purchase it from hong kong.
You can get iphones for 149.99 u.s and u.k.
You can get protowers for 600.00 u.s and u.k.
It's insane. |

Keep your eye on the Special Deals/Refurb bit on www.apple.com/uk/thestore
Also get on the mailing list of your local Apple Store as occasionally they have firesales.
Look at places like www.dabs.com they often resell items people can't get on with.
Failing that ebay? _________________ Many Thanks

Johnodd, you are aware, surely, that 600 USD does not equal 600 GBP. If a Mac Pro tower was $600 it would be £300, and if it was £600 it would be $1,200.
Also, postage from the far east kinda sucks bigtime. Not worth the hastle nor the price. Check out local dealerships, and the refurbs stores. Thats the way I'd go. _________________

Hi there, I always shop at the website: http://www.okobe.co.uk for my MAC computers. They offer Apple products at low prices. |

Yes I can see they are a bit more pricey now, but when I bought they had £100 off. This made them at the time cheaper than the apple store. Kind Regards.javascript:emoticon(' ')
