Ok,I ran the test and a slightly different part number came back, now the specs match...any thoughts, heres the link for both sets

Set I Can order :

http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=CT2KIT25664AC800

Set crucial recommends :

http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=B6489527A5CA7304

I'm thinking this is just a case of slightly different product numbers as the 2 sets look identical...well better safe than sorry methinks Rolling Eyes

I would contact them and ask them what the difference is. I have always had good results from contacting Crucial. As in a real response, not some boilerplate copy and paste.

I think it is just down to different part numbers. Also the first one was from the UK site, the second the US site.

I have just this minute ordered 4gb Ram from crucial. Ended up letting crucial scan my system as in the options available when searching manually I could not find my build. My system shows MB41 when the scan showed MB40.
