Go to FAQ.
Under the sub heading :
Formatting & Topic types.
| Quote: | Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed). |

| Aqua, recent versions of phpBB have this as a standard install feature, but as it is sometimes open to abuse, some forum admins choose to disable it. |

Or copy the image URL, and then paste it into your post, then click on the Img button while the pasted URL is still highlighted.

SC | But this still presupposes that you have your pics remotely hosted somewhere. No prob for those of us who have their own servers or subscribe to a remote image bin or the Apple thingy. |

Jazz,
You can always try posting your image via Mac mini 123's Photo Gallery function...

| I know Aqua, it doesn't bother me personally because all my pics are on my server and I link to that. What I am curious about is why the 123MM gallery sw doesn't have a seamless pw bridge like Coppermine does, and why the team doesn't update this phpBB to v3.0.3. |

I would say the last two Aqua. Personally I think this board does a great job as it is. I know first-hand how much time goes into moderating an maintaining forums
Some 123MM members - see: http://www.123macmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=149027#149027
are using the free version DropBox to park and share their files up to 2Gb and swear by it. I've checked it out, I don't need it but it looks pretty good. A European rival is the French Oodrive which costs a fortune. |

There are numerous free image hosting sites, so I didn't feel it necessary to list them or the procedures for uploading to them.

You can also do a Google search of images, when you find the one you want, right click on it and "copy image address" then paste it into your thread.
That's what I do, all the time. It's fast, easy and free.
If it's something custom or specific that I've created I host it myself with my .Mac .... errr.... ummm.... . Me or Skitch account. That is only about 10% of the images I post though.... _________________ Automotive Digital Marketing

Sorry, I missed your post. Here's a couple, no point in listing them all:
http://coolthaihouse.com
http://ultralingua.com/forums/
http://nittayo.org/tesol_discussions
They're neither as busy nor as interesting as 123MM
