It's my wife's actually but, I get to use it quite often. It came with the following specs:

Windblows XP Home
900 Mhz Intel Celeron M CPU
512MB of RAM
8GB SSD HD
Wireless b/g networking
10/100 ethernet networking
3 - USB 2.0
audio - in/out analog
VGA sub d 15 pin analog output

So far, all I've done is installed eeebuntu a distro of Ubuntu 8.10 that is specifically for the Eee PC Netbook. What a great distro! She loves it and I like it so much I've got my eye on a Eee PC 1000H for myself.

I ordered a 1GB RAM chip from NewEgg. It was only $8.99! The 701 SD uses the same RAM as my Mini! PC2-5300 667Mhz DDR2 SDRAM.

What a great little machine!

Now had you been a Canadian, Aqua, you could have gotten an eeePC 701 for FREE, just by opening a bank account at our Royal Bank. Laughing

In built radar...like they all have...you know...like just when your looking at a pretty women's legs or just like that moment they're about to have a sweetly delectable 'wardrobe malfunction'....

....and they KNOW with the eyes in the back of their heads...without turning or blinking...

"There is a male nearby and he is having a perv..."

And that from across the road...between passing cars while walking in the opposite direction...

In fact....how is it that they have such an inscrutable radar detection system............yet they can't help crashing into things with the car when they're driving...?

Total mystery...
