Before anyone wastes their time going onto Papayas ill-conceived site to find out what it is and what it does:

Dropbox is brill, I use it on my iMac, Macbook and my work laptop and I also like that you can also log into the web client to download your synced files.

I just downloaded it to take a peek. The free version looks pretty good for 2 Gb. A European rival is the French Oodrive which costs a fortune.

So are the files you upload in drop box stored in their web servers or hosted from your computer?

Both, they are synced to the server and any clients you have it installed on.

Ok I figured it out, it is web based. I don't like give my files to a third party if possible. It looks like a fantastic app, but it is not for me. I don't care for it's TOS statement.

Thanks for the heads up on Dropbox though guys! I don't care for Papayas price tag either! So I'll keep poking around.
