|
|
I've had my Mac Mini for a few months now (loving it) with the 1.42ghz, 512mb superdrive. I've used it to burn 5 holiday DVDs now all of them perfect and burning without problems. I've also done a couple of DVDs with slideshows in iPhoto and sharing them with iDVD to create a DVD and worked great.
However, I created 9 slideshows the other night with my latest holiday photos, shared each one of them in turn to iDVD and then left it alone to burn. Problem is though it gets all the way through and says "multiplexer error". I tried a few different types of DVDs and all the same and then tried just doing it to an image and got the same problem.
Any ideas? |

I've burned quite a few movies on iDVD and haven't run into this problem myself (yet) but a Google of the issue shows a number of hits pertaining to space issues:

Fixed it. Drove me mad this one.
Basically I got around it by changing the DVD settings to Best Performance with Background Encoding enabled. I had to the reduce the size of my motion menus to 1min each to make it fit on the DVD and it burned first time.
Bit strange that. On best quality it says it only need 2.1gb space, on best performance it wanted 4.3gb space so I got this down to 3.9gb before burn. Yet when it finished it only took up 2gb of the CD.
Strange! Anyway, its fixed now. Thanks for your help. |
