MSI is soon to be releasing a thin netbook something like the MacBook Air, but with more ports. You can read about it here. Looks very attractive, and will probably cost half of what a MacBook Air costs.

I read something about it today saying it might have the Ion platform in it and a price tag of around $800.

I think Apple makes something similar this time around Hackers. 
I saw this new MSI posted around today. It could very well be the one for me. The MBA styling is a big plus. Although, I just posted about a pretty awesome looking tablet-based netbook from Asus. I'm not sure about the 8.9" screen though. I would prefer something in the 10-12" range.
