|
|
I have the following Mac Mini:
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB memory 320GB 7200 Speed Seagate Hard Drive
Would games such as Doom 3, Diablo 2/3 & Guitar Hero 3 work well?
Or would I have to turn the graphics down?
Lastly...if the graphics get turned down...will the game suck?
I may upgrade the cpu to a 2.33 in the near future...will that change anything for me as far as my game questions above?
I'm not a big gamer but it would be cool to have one or two good games.
I have looked though many of the theads here however many seem dated an/or older mini systems... |

Some people have vastly different ideas about what a good game is.
For me, a console is the solution for gaming, and I haven't given a rats backside about computer gaming in several years. I was surprised that IMG is still going strong!

I haven't tried Doom, but Diablo II runs fine, and I have a 1.83 GHz Mini. They say that the new Diablo III might require too much power than the Mini can dish out, at least with the current models, but newer Minis are expected next year, so who knows?
I've played MacMAME for the longest time, but when playing MAME in Windows allows me to play more games, and the same games faster, when using Windows. |
