Anyone know what the maximum theoretical HDD the time capsule could take? 2TB? 3TB? More?

I'm considering a dual-bay NAS because the TC only has one drive...but if it'll support huge drives I'm OK with upgrading the TC in the future. The TC's USB port will be used for my printer so adding on another external HDD to the TC isn't an option.

I can't see you having any trouble with 2TB when they come out.

I could be wrong but, I believe you can connect a USB hub so you can connect an external drive as well as a printer....

That is true, but you can't combine the internal and external drive"s" into one backup drive. You can use a external RAID though.
