Apple has released the AirPort Extreme Update 2008-003 via its Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, this update is recommended for all Intel-based Macintosh computers running Mac OS 10.5.5 and resolves some issues with AirPort connections when roaming in large Wi-Fi networks. The AirPort Extreme Update 2008-003 weighs in at 2.2MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.5 or later.

| I've been hoping for an AirPort Extreme/Express firmware update and/or iTunes 8.0.2. I've suffering with latency over AirTunes since iTunes 8.0.1 and can't seem to fix it. |

Any luck with this update?
My Software Update says there is no update, is this for the basestation or for the computer? I'm confused.
EDIT: Admin, the link is broken as well. Wonder if Apple pulled the update for some reason? _________________ Automotive Digital Marketing

It looks like Apple pulled it for now. We'll update things as soon as possible. |

| I installed the update earlier and everything seems to be working fine. I won't lie though, I'm worried now that they pulled it. This is the first time something like this has happened to me on a Mac. I hope it doesn't cause issues down the road. |
