I heard about this yesterday. I tried getting an invite from Boxee, but they replied back saying there is a backlog and that it would take a few weeks. I guess the appication is worthless if you can't sign into Boxee. |

I just loaded the aTV flash on my AppleTv yesterday. My main reason for doing so was to access a 500GB USB external drive connected directly to the AppleTV for all my movies. I'm a little disappointed that none of the player apps included in aTV flash recognize the meta data from my movies. I use MetaX which works great in the AppleTV interface.
Does anyone know if XBMC for the AppleTV supports the use of an external USB drive connected directly to the ATV ? |

Perhaps, but you have to start here with the install. I'm going to start playing around with this tomorrow (need a smaller flash drive). There could be changes needed for Apple TV v2.2. I'm just not sure yet. Everything is so new. |

They just added CBS and Hulu streaming
I might have to put this on my AppleTV, just have to wait for an invite... unless someone here is already a part of the alpha and would like to invite me |
