I have always loved this codec pack. It makes Quicktime 1000x more usable!
The update has been a long time coming.. |

Oh well, there's always VLC if it doesn't work right.
Just kidding!
I'm glad to see them get an update out. I hope it helps with some of the performance issues. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

| I hope this helps with the AVI and MKV drops and lock-ups in Front Row. They seems worse for me with the recent QuickTime updates. |

Hasen't fixed my .mkv audio issues in FR. I have a season of Seinfeld ripped in .mkv that only flashes the first video fram then goes black, all the while the audio track plays along just fine.
Was hoping this was going to fix that.
I wish there was just someway of setting VLC to be the defult player
Yes I know, it will never happen, thank god for projects like this one so at least it helps! _________________ Intel 2.4Ghz/4G Ram/1TB HDD/Server MacMini

I only have a few .mkv's ripped, but it hasn't made a difference for me either. |

There is a way sort of..
What you need to do is select all your video (CMD + A) then press command-option + I. Once the info window comes up go to the "open with" area near the bottom and select VLC. Done! Now all those videos will open with VLC by default. |
