Am trying to install printer that is connected to my PC. Both MAC Mini and PC are connected to D-link router. When I search for printer I select

Epson TCP/IP
Internet Address (???)

That is where I get hung up. The internet address.

On PC I have selected Share this Printer (the Epson)

On the PC go Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.

In the Command Prompt window type ipconfig

The IP address of your PC is displayed.

Got it. Somehow I substituted WINDOWS PRINTER for Epson TCP/IP.
Printed a one word document and printer started printing but instead of my one word it printed pages and pages of something looking like an old DOS .ini file starting with
%!PS-Adobe-3.0
Crying or Very sad

It sounds like it's printing the text version of a PostScript file rather than the file itself.

Unfortunately, I'm no more help to you than that Crying or Very sad

You were a lot of help as was Ranter. You got me thinking and digging into the install routine. Bottom line, it's working now. I had "generic" or "postscript" or something specified and now have "Epson Stylus 740" (as it should be) and just printed my one word ("test") page and it is OK. Thanks.....
