Just wondering if anyone played/plays Counter Strike: Source on their mini?
I've read (but havent tested) that it works fine on macbooks, but I would much rather play it on my mini than on my macbook. Let me know. thanks. _________________ My Setup

| I would think in windows it might work if you are using bootcamp because the graphics card in the mini gets more memory in bootcamp but would the game accept the graphics card several games just wont boot or function without the correct graphics adapter on the mini. |

Don't no for sure. I think it should be ok with some of the settings turned down. I no 1.6 runs fine but is also considerably older. _________________ Mac Mini Intel Core 2 1.83GHZ

Actually, I meant to post a reply in here earlier. CS:S runs, but awfully. I need to set the res to 800x600 to even be able to play it at 10fps. It's really terrible. I'm going to try 1.6 to see if it plays better. _________________ My Setup

I haven't tested CS:S, but I have gotten Half Life 2 running in Crossover with 24+fps on average by putting it in dx7 mode. _________________ Check out my Blog |

do you put crossover in DX7 mode or the game? and how did you do it? I'd love to play source, but I can't at all so it's 1.6 for me for now.
edit: nvm I found it "- dxlevel 70" thanks for letting me know this, I didnt realize you could force a directx level. _________________ My Setup
